Emotional Wellbeing Support Worker (CREATE Project)

We are recruiting a minimum of 3 x casual staff to work alongside the team leader and team in providing effective support directly with children & young people with a learning difficulty through regular CREATE group sessions running on a Wednesday night (school term time)

What we are looking for in applicants:

You will be a confident, skilled young people's worker who has experience of supporting children and young people with additional needs.

You will be able to engage young people and enable them to build relationships, work together and grow in confidence and well-being. You will be a team worker, a collaborator with staff and volunteers and be confident in supporting sessions with children and young people.

You will proactively support the engagement of young people to encourage participation in the project and be able to communicate with other people to ensure they understand the support needs of young people you are working with.

You will promote children & young people's emotional wellbeing and resilience.

We will be shortlisting and interviewing throughout the recruitment window.  Interviews will take place on a Wednesday.  The vacancy may be withdrawn earlier on successful appointment of the required number of workers
