Northorpe Barn Wedding and Events Manager

The Northorpe Barn Trading Company was set up to allow our beautiful barn to be used for weddings and events with all profits being gifted to Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust to support the mental health and well being of young people and families in Kirklees.

The past year has been difficult and challenging for the Hospitality industry and this included the Northorpe Barn. We took the difficult decision to close our doors in March 2020 when the first lockdown was imposed and have not been able to host weddings and events since then.

This does not mean we have not been busy. We have continued to support our couples who had weddings planned with us in 2020 and 2021 and have done all we can to rearrange or support changes. We do however want to make future plans for our venue including opening our diary and bookings for 2022 and looking at other ways we can best use our beautiful barn to help raise essential funds.

Our plan include the recruitment of an experienced Wedding & Events Manager to give vision and direction and identify new opportunities for our venue. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of event and venue management including the managing of teams, but must also have the drive and vision to identify new opportunities.

You will be required to manage a team of Wedding and Event co-ordinators and provide additional support and leadership at events as necessary - the majority of which are on a weekend or evening.

We look forward to receiving your applications.
