In this role, you will be the first point of contact for those concerned about the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people in Kirklees. On the phone, you will listen and aim to understand the circumstances, strengths and support needs of young people and families, You will take responsibility for each case, gathering and sharing information with consent and providing advice, information and support. Where there are risks or safeguarding concerns, you will liaise with colleagues and other services through established pathways and processes, to ensure the right action is taken quickly. As part of the Thriving Kirklees partnership, you will work alongside nursing, clinical mental health workers, schools and others to meet young people's mental health support needs. The role is a 20 hour contract (to be worked on agreed rota to include 1 evening shift a week and be involved in Saturday morning rota 9-1 to work 1 Saturday in a month)
